This guy graduated Cambridge..and he is also a surrealist.
Sententiæ
If the father’s bankrupt, and the sons fail,
Blaming it on their own bad start,
Say the father should have gone to gaol,
Forgetting their grandfather’s part.
So with all centuries of blame
Fathers by their children cursed,
Say that all the trouble came
From Eve and Adam first.
Both wrong: are wronged. But we are wronged
the most.
Their life was deep, but only deep, immersed.
We fathom further, deep enough to boast
We know a worse beneath our father’s worst.
“Roman Balcony and other poems” written by David Gascoyne (1916-2001), a so-called surrealist poet, is his first volume (he was sixteen years old, living in Middlesex).
The Cage
In the waking night
The forests have stopped growing
The shells are listening
The shadows in the pools turn grey
The pearls dissolve in the shadow
And I return to you
Your face is marked upon the clockface
My hands are beneath your hair
And if the time you mark sets free the birds
And if they fly away towards the forest
The hour will no longer be ours
Ours in the ornate birdcage
The brimming cup of water
The preface to the book
And all the clocks are ticking
All the dark rooms are moving
All the air’s nerves are bare
Once flown
The feathered hour will not return
And I shall have gone away.
Yes! This is pure surrealism! If one doesn’t feel the objective chance, the black humour (“Witz”- Freudian one), the method (maybe ecriture automatique) exhibited in this poem…one is useless (for Gascoyne).
When one says something before reading the special material offered by specialists, one draws a conclusion from his experience, by means of certain words. It may be naive..it depends on the degree of his/her knowledge.
-it may mean justification or defense of an act/ idea; it may mean also an expression of contrition and remorse for something done wrong -remorse: emotional expression of personal regret (the emotion felt by the injurer after she or he has injured-guilt or self-directed resentment)
effective apologies that express remorse typically include the following components: a detailed account of the offense; acknowledgment of the hurt or damage done; acceptance of the responsibility for, and ownership of, the mistake; an explanation that recognizes ones role; a statement or expression of regret, humility or remorse; a request for forgiveness; and an expression of a credible commitment to change or a promise that it won’t happen again; and some form of restitution, compensation or token gesture in line with the damage that you caused.

A common place for fighting against yourself is the rain. Of course, there are thousands of such places…but in the rain is like when you take a cold shower: so langsam, so aufmerksam…In the rain you are filled with drops of wrath, you feel your filling and there’s no girl to touch your filling. And you don’t feel empty, you fill yourself. In the rain there’s no such thing as Sun Francisco.

They write, they are read by themselves..and they feel so proud about this. Think a second about it!
“diagnostic applied to a state of mind, one of unmanageable fear or emotional excesses-the fear is often centered on an imagined problem with that body part-people who are “hysterical” often lose self-control due to the overwhelming fear”
Now, disguising hysteria: some authors do this. I know somebody (a Romanian contemporary author) who speaks all the time about hysterical persons, blaming them. That’s because (maybe, it’s just speculation) he had some troubles with his girlfriend (she was making sex with a different guy, she cheated him, now he is alone and because he doesn’t have any occupation is involved in writing articles for newspapers and strives to become a “cultural star”). I’m not talking about me, even though maybe I am hysterical too-I don’t have problems with such diseases! It’s just that this guy has a sort of despise for hysterical persons, even if he may be one of them.
This is the car where one should read the book of Immanuel Kant – “Kritik der reinen Vernunft” or “Critic of Pure Reason”. Why? Because this car IS the critic of pure reason!
